Eremia Grigorescu Tehnological High School is a high school with a total number of 782 students including primary and secondary classes. The school is located in a small town called Targu Bujor, Galati county. The capital of the county, the city Galati is located 55 km from our town. Because the school is located in the middle of a significant rural area, our students mainly come from the town and the surrounding villages. Most of them face important social and economic difficulties and come from rather poor families. Some students face serious learning disabilities or even physical ones (about 8%) . We know from our previous experience about the incredible opportunities that our students, school staff and members of the local community can have working together with partners from other schools and communities and this is why we are determined to continue present and future partnerships with other schools and communities from our country and abroad. Eremia Grigorescu High School trains students not only in the field of social science, science, philology but also it also trains professionals in the field of mechanics, textile industry and wood industry. Unfortunately, getting a job in the surrounding rural area and towns is not very easy, therefore we need to increase their chances by further developing their entrepreneurial skills in order to make them `modern employees` working for different companies from different geographical areas. Through regular school activities all our students have began to realise how important our resourses are, the fact that they are limited while the population of our planet is growing and that we need to take better care of our planet and its resources so that future generations can enjoy what we have now.
